Job Opening: Bookkeeping Assistant

Employment Dates: May 1- October 1, 2019, 1 day per week
Status: Part Time, Temporary, Non-Exempt

Job Purpose

The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum seeks a seasonal Bookkeeping Assistant one day per week (M-F, day negotiable and flexible) to assist the finance office bookkeeping tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Credit Card reconciliations
  • Obtaining proper documentation for all expenses
  • Posting of all transactions in QuickBooks

Qualifications

  • Good with numbers, reliable, accurate and detail oriented
  • Some experience in bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks 
  • Reliable with a high degree of personal integrity

Compensation
$13/hour, 1 day per week
