[Vergennes, Vermont, March 9, 2018]  The Champlain Longboats Program announces the 18th annual Open House. Champlain Longboats Program is a program of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in Vergennes, VT. Each year, for the past 18 years, we open the boat shop to share the progress of the latest longboat project with the public. The open house will be held on March 21st, 5:30-7:30 PM at the LCMM boat shop.

This year the participants are building a 32’, six-oared pilot gig, which takes its lines from TREFFRY, a pilot gig built in 1832 which still exists today. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Please RSVP below. Pizza, salad, beverages, and dessert will be served.
