In lieu of an on-water finale, Sailing Programs Manager Matt Harrison will do a land-based demonstration of our natural linen spritsail aboard our Shad Boat Mac, which was crafted this July through a partnership with the Weaver’s Croft, the Sailcloth Study Group, and Gambell & Hunter Sail Loft during a conference titled “By Hand: Reclaiming the Art of Historical Sail Making.”
