3D scanning technology has revolutionized the way museums present their artifact collections to the public through digital collections and printed replicas. Come see the process of creating 3D models of artifacts and hear all about how 3D technology creates new pathways for accessibility and protecting fragile objects. This program will be focusing on Revolutionary War Era artifacts and how 3D technology can help preserve these important materials.

Thank you to Vermont State University-Castleton and the Vermont Humanities Council for their support of the project!

Accessibility: The program will take place in the Visitor Center Auditorium. Photosensitive visitors please be aware that 3D scanners use flashing lights to pick up data.
