Teen Sailing Class

Calling all adventurous teens: let’s get sailing! In this one-day introductory sailing course, teens will learn the basics of small boat sailing, how to right a capsized boat, and how to get out on the water and guide your vessel.

The class will be held at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in North Harbor using the Museum’s fleet of custom-built Split Rock Sailing Dinghies. In case of inclement weather, we will hold a rain date on Sunday, August 13. The class will run from 10 am to 4:30 pm with a break in the middle of the day for lunch. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
