Instrument Petting Zoo

Ever wanted to learn an instrument but never got your hands on one? Come to the Museum to try out the 15+ instruments in the Vermont Folklife Center’s Instrument Petting Zoo! Who knows, maybe you will leave with a band!
The Instrument Petting Zoo is supported by many individuals, families and organizations – those who donate and maintain the instruments, the Mockingbird Foundation, Mandolin Instruments, Vermont Violins, Vermont Folklife Center, the Leslie A. and Harold E. Greene Fiddle Loan Program, Bean’s Violins, the Integrated Arts Academy, installation sponsors and volunteers, and many others. The Instrument Petting Zoo originated as a program of Young Tradition Vermont.
This event is free to attend, no reservation needed.
