Children’s Games in the Canal Boat Era

Children of canal boat families would play, work, and learn like other children of their era. Join us as we make paper dolls and play games that come from 1860-1880, all while learning more about how canal locks work!
Accessibility: This program will take place in the Nautical Archaeology Center exhibit “Underwater Archaeology: Diving into the Stories of People and Canal Boats on Lake Champlain,” accessible via ramp.
