12 Pound Round Shot
Object/Artifact
Artifact 05-78 is a 12 pound cast-iron round shot. Shot like these would have been fired from a 12-pound cannon, which were common among both the British and American fleets. This type of object, along with other shot of varying caliber, make up the most commonly recovered object from the site.
