Canning Lid

Object SI.02.843.309 is a porcelain lined canning lid. The porcelain has a light green color marbled with white. The rim of the lid has text stamped into the surface, "Boyd's Genuine Porcelain Lined Cap". The center of the inside of the lid has "3" stamped into the surface.
This object was used to assist in preserving food.
