Fragment, Ax Handle
Object/Artifact
Artifact LC-85-2-77b is a fragment of an ax handle. The wood has splinted along the edges. A hole has been drilled into the center of the widest section of the handle. There is a faint line showing where the edge of the iron ax head used to be when these objects were once connected.
This handle would have been used to assist in using an ax.
