Your gift to our annual campaign goes directly to helping us create connections. Thank you!
In this most unusual year, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum was forced to stay closed to the public for the first time in our 35-year history. Thanks to support from people like you, we were able to pivot and offer new experiences that connected people with the lake, with our shared history, and with each other.
With the help of donations, sponsorships, and memberships, we were able to open a new digital exhibit, offer free virtual summer camps, safely run two teen expeditions, give virtual presentations, kick off a new snorkeling camp, and so much more.
We are grateful to have our community as the wind at our backs. Your gift today allows the Museum to continue our work – to make new connections, to discover new research, and to impact new lives. We are committed to doing that work, and we can’t do it without your help.
“My son participated in camp and LOVED it. He talks about it so much and asked me to place a hold on some related library books about sonars. It is now Saturday night and he is doing an activity he learned in camp with his sister.”

“Beyond building self confidence, learning to work as a team, experiencing the thrills of camping and survival skills on the water, this year’s expedition served as a chance for my daughter to just have fun and be a kid without the constant chaos that this pandemic has created in our lives.”
