Come and explore the fascinating age old craft of Blacksmithing!
This weekend long class is open to students with no prior forging experience. You will have an opportunity learn the basic tools and their uses, managing a coal forge/fire, and several controlled hand forging techniques. If you have some limited prior experience feel free to join as well in order to enhance your skills, explore new techniques, and perhaps create an heirloom.
Saturday and Sunday, 9:30-4 each day.
Tuition: $225 plus a $20 materials fee: $245 ($220 LCMM Members)
Please bring a lunch, water, closed toed shoes, long pants, and preferably clothing made from natural fibers. Dress warm for winter workshops! The forge will warm up over the day, but start out chilly.
Minimum Enrollment: Four (participants will be notified one week prior to the class date and refunds issued if minimum is not met) Maximum Enrollment: Five
LCMM Course & Workshop Refund and Cancellation Policy: Should you need to request a refund or switch to another date, please email email@example.com and we will be happy to help. Refunds are permitted up to one week before the class. After one week before the class, refunds and date changes will not be permitted due to registration minimums. It’s not fair to the other participants for a refund to necessitate the cancellation of a class within one week of the course. If you have questions or special circumstances, please feel free to email or call and we will do our best to accommodate.
