SUMMARY:Youth Metal Arts Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of metalworking just for young teens and pre-teens! Open to all curious metalsmiths ages 10–15\, in this workshop students will learn the main ways of creating metal objects and complete projects themselves. You will learn how to and develop basic techniques for shaping metal including forming a hook\, twisting\, and drifting to create a hook or bracelet. \n\n\n\nNo prior metal working or blacksmithing experience is necessary\, just an excitement to create something new! We’re excited to share the wonder of metal arts with the next generation. \n\n\n\nOn the day of the workshop\, participants should wear closed-toe shoes and long pants\, natural fibers preferred and bring their own lunch and water bottle.
