SUMMARY:Virtual Archaeology Conference
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the fourth annual Virtual Archaeology Conference! Each year\, researchers and archaeologists with Lake Champlain Maritime Museum come together to share new research\, developments\, and discoveries from their work in Lake Champlain in this virtual summit that is open and free for all to attend. \n\n\n\nOur 2025 conference is a deep dive into archaeology at the Museum\, offering all attendees a unique and detailed behind-the-scenes look into our work and process in archaeology\, research\, and collections. This event features four distinct yet connected spotlight presentations from our team of experts. In these presentations\, we will explore different aspects of our work such as tools for research and conservation\, vital considerations for resource management and collections care\, exciting new technology\, and lessons learned from 40+ years of managing the Vermont Underwater Historic Preserves. After each presentation\, there will be a brief Q&A with the speaker and we’ll end the conference with a longer Q&A with our whole archaeology\, research\, and collections team. \n\n\n\nThe full schedule and list of presenters are detailed below. \n\n\n\nThis virtual conference will be presented on Zoom Webinar and is free to attend.
