Why Volunteer

LCMM volunteers truly make a difference. The experience of the people that come to the museum is influenced by everything we do and the people they meet here. A smile and a willingness to help go a long way.

"The museum has many places where you can make a difference in our activities and visitor experience. One great way to decide about your volunteering options is to pick one part of the museum that means something to you and adopt it. Clean it, maintain it, improve it, and advocate for it. If we have that kind of dedication and enthusiasm spread across the museum, then every inch of exhibit and every program shines and the museum as a whole excels."

~Peter Oxford, Interpreter aboard Philadelphia II
