Yesterday was the last day the public was allowed on board. Today the McClure started in Whitehall, NY and will anchor somewhere near the Crown Point Bridge. It passed by Fiddler's Elbow and the house of the 103 year old Cora Archambault, a woman who grew up on a canal boat.

It also passed South Bay and went from the Erie Canal to Lake Champlain. We saw a lot of blue herons today.

Today is the last day before the Lois McClure reaches it's final destination at North Harbor and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. We also passed Fort Ticonderoga and the Ticonderoga ferry, a ferry operated by a cable that pulls it from shore to shore.

I thought that being on the McClure was really fun and I hope that this is not the last time that this boat sails.
