Online Juried Photo Exhibit:
Lake Champlain Through the Lens

The many seasons and moods of Lake Champlain are beautifully reflected in this exhibit of outstanding work by professional and amateur photographers, now in 2015 in a new, online format.

Calling all Photographers!

Through The Lens will now be a 100% digital online exhibit, with opportunities to participate four times per year. The calls for entries will follow the seasons of Lake Champlain in images.

The current theme is Spring Into Lake Champlain.

The contest is now open, it's free to enter - and ANYONE can enter. Submitting your photographs is easy. Just visit the link to the right where you will find the entry form and all the details, including file specifications. Images are uploaded right from that page and there is no entry fee! Only the first 40 entries will be accepted, so start shooting and uploading today!

Submission Deadline: May 30, 2015 Extended to June 30, 2015

Submissions for Spring Into Lake Champlain! will close on May 30th June 30, 2015 or when 40 eligible entries have been received.

Online Juried Portfolio & Winners

All qualified entries will be posted here and exhibited as a portfolio on LCMM's Facebook page. For each season, a guest judge from the world of photography will select three outstanding images in the Amateur category and three in the Professional category.

Facebook People's Choice Winner

In addition, LCMM’s Facebook Friends will vote for a People’s Choice winner! For the first two weeks of the exhibit posting, and before the professional judging is posted, Facebook visitors will be encouraged to “like” a favorite. The photo with the most “likes” will receive the “People’s Choice Award.”
After the People’s Choice voting has concluded, the People’s Choice and professional judge’s selections will be posted. Winners will be featured on Facebook and our website, receive a digital certificate, and will be included in final jurying for “Best of the Year.” In addition, winners will privately receive constructive comments from the judge about their images and why they were selected.
We look forward to seeing your best photography!
